For those of you who just want someone to tell you what to do and guide you through healing.

Listen, I won’t be telling you what to do, but you’re in the right place anyway. Here’s what we’ll do instead:

Take 12-24 sessions to get that anxiety under control, learn to regulate and tolerate emotions, focus on who you really are and what’s truly important to you (and if this sounds daunting, don’t worry, I got you), and craft goals that propel you into the peace and calm you crave.

Book a free, 30-minute consultation with me to talk about how we can tailor that experience to your specific needs.

To find peace and calm, you’ve gotta heal your past trauma.

You want:

  • Your mind to stop spiraling so you can think straight and focus

  • Your heart to stop beating out of your chest and for the tightness to go away

  • To feel like you have your sh*t together

  • To know why you do the things you do

Brandi rolling her eyes while throwing her hands up in overwhelm and exhaustion.
  • The other shoe is gonna drop

  • All these things outside of you are dictating your next move

  • You have no control or say

  • The pile of things to do is insurmountable

  • The uncertainty of life is scary and too much

  • You’re unappreciated and alone

  • If you just knew what the “right” thing to do was, everything would be okay

  • Conflict or confrontation is the worst

  • Doing what you want or need is a waste of time

  • You don’t trust yourself to have the right answers

  • You don’t trust others to be reliable

  • If you are completely yourself, you’ll be judged or left

  • You have to constantly be doing something to be valuable

And it’s all just so overwhelming and exhausting.

I understand.

And I want you to know that:

We Can Find the Trauma Responses Beneath How You Feel and Quiet Them

Then we can create new responses and work on making them happen. These new responses are how you let go of the past and move on. And as you make changes, your confidence will grow.

Why Me As your Coach?

  • I’m a certified life coach who is trauma informed. That makes a big difference in how I approach what’s coming up for you, how we work toward action items, and the pacing of your program.

  • I coach you as a person and not your circumstance or diagnosis.

  • I’m known for being nonjudgemental, gentle, and present.

  • My coaching style is geared toward getting to the heart of who you are and the root of your problems. So, sessions with me include deep explorations of your inner world and slowly shifting where needed rather than short-term quick fixes.

  • I value diversity, inclusion, and equity.

  • My background in communications, art, and researching human nature influence my ability to relate to you on a deeper level.

  • I’m a trauma survivor myself, who has excelled at self healing from childhood emotional abuse, neglect, divorce, large amounts of death, family estrangement, and more. My life is really amazing and peaceful now, so I know without a doubt that yours can be too.

  • I keep learning to continually improve and adapt my coaching best practices.

  • I believe in you whole-heartedly, even if you don’t believe in yourself.

My 1:1 Coaching Programs are Designed to Help You Move Forward, Your Way.

 FAQs

  • My coaching is 100% online. By default, we’ll use Zoom for sessions. You can choose if you want the video on or off. And, if you’d rather have a non-video phone call instead, just let me know and we’ll work it out.

  • I specialize in adults aged 18 years or older. My current client base ranges in age from 30-60.

  • No problem! You can always sign up for another program after your initial 12 or 24.

Healing trauma is unique to everyone and can take years depending on what you’ve been through and what you want to accomplish. While most of my clients finish within 24 sessions, from time to time, I do have clients who need or want more than 24 sessions.

If you’ve already completed 24 sessions with me and the money exchange prevents accessibility to more, I’ll do my best to work with you to tailor the program so the exchange works for both of us. I can’t promise this at all times, however, as I do need to ensure financial stability for myself and family. But let’s talk about it.

Or, if you’ve completed at least 12 consistently attended sessions with me and would enjoy lighter support, I have a special subscription you can sign up for to maintain your momentum. With it, you get one 60-minute session per month with one support email between sessions for $99 per month.

  • Results from coaching, and especially around healing trauma, are best realized over time. So, I’ve set my programs based on real, successful client journeys with me. If you feel really strongly about doing fewer sessions, we can discuss it in a free consultation and I’ll evaluate and recommend what I think on a case-by-case basis. But usually, you’ll need 12-24. It’s an investment in lasting results you can take with you after your program ends.

  • Typically, no, although there is flexibility in how you pace your program. Coming to sessions on a regular cadence ensures you keep making progress at a pace that helps you form new behaviors and habits to rewire old trauma responses. Even if you don’t know what to talk about one day, there is still value in coming and we will have plenty to work on. Instead of viewing coaching as a band-aid solution, think of it as a regular wellness habit, like going to the gym or a yoga class. That’s when it works best.

  • Absolutely. Oftentimes, trauma-informed coaching compliments the work you’re already doing in therapy. I work with you to ensure we cover different ground in coaching. I do ask that any client who is currently in therapy obtain approval from their therapist to start a coaching program.

  • Trauma recovery coaching is a relationship in which I hold the space for you to self heal. I rarely work in the past with clients, but focus on the present moment and how to move forward into the future you want. In this partnership of co-creation, you lead and I follow. That means you provide the information and I provide the space to explore it, gain self awareness, and for you to find solutions. In contrast, a therapist typically leads. Oftentimes, clinical practitioners diagnose and treat mental health. I do not diagnose or treat mental health.

  • No, coaching isn’t a substitute for mental health treatment. While coaching can do wonders for your mental health, among other life areas, I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you’re not in therapy and it becomes clear in sessions that therapy may be a better tool for your healing process than coaching, I am obligated and happy to refer you to a clinician who would provide a greater benefit to your current circumstance.

  • Yes, I maintain strict confidentiality. The only time someone would know you are my client is if you tell them or give me permission to share your name in a testimonial. From time to time, one of my credentialing organizations, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) may audit my coaching to ensure my credentials remain up to date. In other words, this keeps me legit as a coach. In the case of an audit, I would ask permission to share your name and contact information for verification that you are my client, but would not share session notes. In this case, the ICF is also bound to maintain confidentiality.

  • No. I’m NOT a licensed health care professional or clinician, so I can’t. However, check your other employer benefits to see if life coaching falls under a wellness activity they may cover separately from insurance or reimburse you for. Otherwise, services are private pay. However, I do offer several options for flexibility with your budget, and payment plans are available. Discounts are available for pay-in-full clients as well.

  • Yes, there are a variety of ways I can break down your payments or bundle your sessions to work with your budget. However, paying in full gives you anywhere from 18%-25% savings depending on which program you need.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you give me at least 24 hours notice. If you have an unavoidable circumstance within that 24-hour time period before your session, I’ll work with you to reschedule and you won’t lose your session. However, if this becomes a habit, you’ll start losing your sessions. This is to protect my time so that I may serve all my clients well and to discourage last-minute rescheduling unless it’s truly unavoidable.

  • If you’ve already had the session, there is no refund. You may have a refund for unused sessions. Depending on how you’ve paid and how many sessions you’ve used, your refund may be prorated.

What My Coaching Process is Like from Start to Finish

This is a detailed description of what a coaching relationship with me is like from start to finish, including what’s involved every step of the way.

This may not be the right time for coaching with me if:

  • You’re not ready to commit to doing the work required to change your life

  • You’re actively being abused or are in a life threatening situation

  • You constantly blame others for what you perceive as going wrong in your life

  • You’re currently suicidal or having suicidal thoughts - Call or text 988

  • You feel you already know everything there is to know about yourself

  • You’re looking for me to give you the answers

  • You don’t have any healing to do

  • You’re in a hurry to get huge results

  • You’re in active addiction

While you don’t have to be in therapy or have had therapy to be ready for coaching, it can supplement therapy or other programs in positive and helpful ways as long as you communicate with your medical team and your coach. But, coaching is not a crisis, diagnostic, clinical, or treatment option.
